Yesterday (1/9/00) I turned my tv on, I was watching VH1, they had “behind the music” playing, and this time it was about your son Michael. It pains me to say, I didn't really know much if anything about him before yesterday. See I'm only 17, so when your son moved on I was still young and not to interested with the news. But it struck my heart all the way to it's core, when I saw your sons story on, and I found out that many of the songs that I love, were song by him. I don't really understand, why someone with so much to give, had to leave. I don't believe that he killed himself. I just feel that your son understood that life is a blessed thing that is given to us, and even when things look the worse and that they're not going to become better soon, you still know that what goes down, will go up. I cry, and in my mind I find it rather silly that I cry for someone who I did not even know. Yet I sit her, and can't help but let the tears fall from my eyes. I'm so sorry, even though it's a little late to be saying this, but I just there were words in the english language that could express to you my sympathy, other than I'm sorry. Your son was a great man, and will forever be remembered in love, and honner. I just wish he could have stayed even just a little bit longer.
