Since my early teens(1987) I have been listening to Michael and INXS. Although it wasn't until July 1997 that I had one of the best nights of my life watching Michael seduce the adoring Glasgow (Barroland) crowd. Michael and the band were in top form. Michael was the only “superstar” that I admired, so you can imagine how I felt at approx 7.00am on the morning of Nov 22nd '97 when I heard that Michael had gone. Although I was gutted at what had happened, somehow it came as no surprise. He always seemed under pressure by the media to take a straight line, when clearly he did what HE wanted. I personally dont think that he meant to go, but then I am only a fan who didn't know the full story. It is a tragedy that what seemed to be such a genuinely caring person will not get to grow old with his beautiful daughter and bring joy to her as he did to all his fans.
Thanks for all the great tunes
See you soon.
