Dear Mr Hutchence and family,
Hopefully you get the chance to read this..I'm sure it's been a busy time for you.
Here we are, it's 01/01/00 - I just wanted to wish you all a very happy and peaceful 2000. My thoughts were with you at midnight, as the clock counted down to :00 my street was treated to a rather loud rendition of “Old World New World”, followed immediately by “Don't Change”, “Time” and then finally “Slide Away” as I raised my glass in salute to your beautiful son. There is this bright star that can be seen every night late from my front verandah - this is my own Mike star, and that is where my soft “cheers, dude” was directed with just a little tear in my eye. I then sent my best wishes for you guys out into the night - sounds a little silly, I'm sure, but hey, I'd been indulging in a few for the occassion and was feeling a little emotional as you do... : )
And while I'm here, I also want to send happy thoughts and best wishes to all my fellow wonderful INXSaries out there who I've met over the last 6 months or so - you know who you are!
So here's to 2000, may the next decade be happier than the last, and hopefully we'll see some of you in Sydney in January '01 for our get together..
This site is wonderful, thanks again, it's a lovely place to visit and I come here often.
