Faced with the challenge of inappropriate messages being posted in the past, we have resorted to pre-approving all guestbook entries before they appear in Michael's Guestbook. I'm sitting here listing to old INXS songs on their website and having a blast remembering the amazing, energetic spirit who created these songs. I have to say that no band in the world ever made me jump to my feet, stomp and holler, sing to the top of my lungs the way these guys did. Michael Hutchence was amazing---so talented with a voice that just vibrated you right out of your seat. I really miss what he brought to this world and to this wonderful band, he had something so special. Plus, and this is going to sound silly coming from a 35 year old, but he was so cute! I got into INXS when I was 18 in 1988, and boy did I have a crush on him! The combination of that plus the great sound of their songs really hooked me and I was buying their cds left and right back then. Now, when I play them or listen to tunes on the computer this way, I feel the same rush of joy and excitement that I used to feel back then. There was something so magical about Michael, the way his voice blended perfectly with the awesome sounds of his band. God, what a great combination they were.

I really miss you, Michael. I never got to see you in concert or meet you in person, but you and the rest of the guys in INXS brought so much fun to my life. Even now when I sit here singing my heart out to your old songs, I just feel this rush of kinship, like you were someone wonderful, someone I would have really enjoyed getting to know.

I love you and I hope that wherever you are, your spirit is rockin out, having the time of your life now that there are no problems or worries to tie you down.

You are missed, you handsome devil.

Love always,
Tracy
