What an absolutely beautiful tribute of a site. You've conveyed the man inside the icon so distinctly and passionately...I was surprised at how moved I found myself.
I attended the Canadian INXS audition last Friday, and was called back on Sunday for further auditioning, and was just surfing around trying to ground myself in 'all things INXS' when I happened on this site.
INXS were huge here in Canada much earlier than other places around the world, and they were a mainstay on our turntables and cassette decks (yikes!...pre-CD!!)while I was in high school in the late 80's, so when I heard last week that they were holding auditions, I couldn't help but attend. I went in knowing that the fellas could NEVER 'replace' Michael...they could only forge off in a new direction, and that fact has been hammered home to me by your wonderful tribute. Thankyou and God bless.
