Hello,
I don't know if Mr Hutchence will ever read this but I wanted to say thanks so much to the powers that be, for releasing Michaels solo record. I finally got an import copy and it's really brilliant.
“A Straight Line” reminds me of something that Sly & the family Stone would do, because it very funky. Especially when the horns kick in, the only thing missing was Michaels going into a verse of...“Dance to the Music”. And “Flesh & Blood” is just gorgeous. Maybe one day someone might consider publishing some of his poetry, that would be nice. As you said we have memories to cheer our hearts & soul. I was just watching the “INXS Greatest Video Hits” and if anyone wants to see the funniest thing,
watch & listen to the story Michael is telling right before “Need you tonight”. He's talking about “Plague” the white rat that's used in the video and he says: “the poor rat, he ran off eventually to sing in night clubs or something” and he says it with such a straight face that it's so funny. Well it cheered me up. Shine like it does.
Thanks for the site & thanks for your time.
Peace, Love & Music
Yvonne
