Thank you to the Hutchence family for creating this wonderful memorial site where those of us who never met Michael can come and remember and show our appreciation for his enormous talent, his energy and his spirit which so abundantly flowed through his music. So much so that although I've never met him there is a sense that I knew him. The music of INXS is a huge part of my teenage memories. When I listen to their music, especially Kick, it is hard to believe that Michael is gone. His voice was so alive. I must say that when I heard the news of his death, I was in utter disbelief and I felt tremedous sorrow. I never cried. I couldn't bring myself to cry for someone whom I never met. Today is the first day I've ever visited this site. Ironically, I am at work listening to INXS: The Greatest Hits (I haven't listened to this cd in months) as I browse the site. For the first time, two years since his death, I shed tears, many tears. Maybe that's a good thing. Maybe now that I've released, I can listen to Michael sing and not shake my head asking why. Thanks Michael for the memories and the music.
Again, thank you to the Hutchence family. God Bless.
