Michael Hutchence and INXS have provided the soundtrack for my life. I began following them when I heard their first American hit, “Original Sin,” in the early 80's. I enjoyed the peak of their fame with “Kick” and the “X” albums. And after their popularity in America began to wane in the early 90's and the throngs moved on to the next big thing, I continued to be a huge INXS fan all the way through 1997's “Elegantly Wasted.” I can honestly say that I've never heard a bad INXS song.
As soon as it was available
in the United States, I purchased Michael's solo album. It, too, is FANTASTIC! Not a bad cut on the entire album.
As far as I'm concerned, Michael Hutchence was a genius.
