This is pure by chance I visit this great website, as I visited the Live Aid DVD one and came across the link to INXS.
I've always loved INXS and remember the day well my friend and I went to one of their concerts in London Docklands, in 1991.We met the whole band afterwards and I was standing next to Michael and we chatted for a bit. He was just SO gracious and kind.My friend was too shy to talk to him ,but he noticed her and asked her what she thought of the concert(it was smashing).
I'm a bit older now(still young at heart though;-)), but that is such a sweet memory I have.Like many other people I was totally shocked to hear about Michael's death.In my mind he will always be that totally gentle, kind and incredibly gracious man. Not to mention incredibly sexy and very much alive.I firmly believe that loved ones who die live on in the hearts of people who love(d)them.
His music, voice and spirit live on .He is sorely missed by his fans, but not least I'm sure by his family and friends and the INXS band members.
Michael has lived and was loved and is still loved!
