INXS hit its peak when I was in middle school. I remember how all the girls swooned over Michael. And I remember how his voice, and the words to each song, touched me. Over the years, I would pop in my old INXS casettes, and find that some songs would hold a new meaning to me, based on the events of my life at that moment. It was such a tragedy, the death of Michael. But it showed only that he was human. He was not a god, as some wanted to make him out to be. He was just a man, with family, friends, foes, and demons. We are all much more alike than we might think. May we learn from one another, always. Thanks to the Hutchence family for sharing its abounding love, and a personal glimpse into a wonderful family.
