I would like to say that I loved Michael - his style, his talent, his manner, his art. He had a way of turning a piece of music into a message of feeling. I had and have never been as moved by an artist as I was by Michael. I grew up listening to him, and felt that part of my childhood died that day. My friend Dan and I had one walkman and one set of headphones between the two of us that we would split apart to listen to INXS on the schoolbus to highschool. We would sing out loud to the KICK album with our fellow riders eyeing us peculiarly. I had never cried for the death of an artist before the day I learned of his death. My heart goes out to you, his parents and siblings, and of course his Tiger Lily. May God Bless you ALL.
