I became a huge fan of INXS from the first time I saw “The One Thing” on MTV too many years ago to mention. Shortly thereafter I caught them live for the first time at St John's University in Queens, NY opening for Adam Ant. I was totally blown away - what an incredible live experience. From that day on they were my faves. I had the pleasure to meet all of them in '84 after a show at the Beacon Theatre in NYC. They invited us to an afterparty & they couldn't have been nicer. I remember dancing with Michael to “Burnin' Down the House” like it was yesterday. What a sweet & very funny man. As luck would have it a few years later I started working in the video department for Atlantic in New York. Michael always made a point of stopping in to say hello whenever he was in town for press & shows. He brought Ollie in when they were working on the Max Q project & made a point of introduction cause my name is so similiar to his brother's. The connection continued when I went to work for Mercury in '92 and INXS followed shortly thereafter. He will always have a special place in my heart & his memory will go on for years to come. Love ya & miss ya!
