On the day of November 22nd, 1997
A brand new star appeared in the heavens
Many wondered why it shone so bright far above
But others new it was your beautiful love
Beaming down to light up the people you love
Now it is that time six years later in 2003
We still miss you but we no longer grieve
You have taught us that even though you are in edens garden with the angels above
You can never be truly forgotten
You left the world a beautiful legacy
And by opening our hearts we can see
You possessed something deep within your soul
That is not new but will never be old
Some say it is known by the name compassion
But with you it was just part of your persona
It did not matter the persons social class
You listened with interest you had no bias
You made people feel different, better inside
Some even say, you helped keep them alive
The only problem is, you were one in a million
A person like you only comes along once in a lifetime
You were so rare a person, often called a Gift
Because you could give ones spirits a lift
By just a look, a smile, eye contact or just your simple presence......
You could make people feel better about life
What you gave to the world in your own unique way
Is something so very special it will never go away
Michael, if there was anyway to send you a message
It would be to let you know that we love you
Miss you and will never ever forget you.....
Today, will celebrate your life and turn your beautiful music up to no.11, will sing your song, loud and clear for all the world to hear.
