In those darkest moments, my soul bled many tears,
My heart has been hard to it for so many long years,
I want to feel the warm love you want me to feel,
I want to touch it, stroke it, taste it, make it real.
But, Life has been so pitch black at times,
But, Life has been so hard to live at times,
My faith in human nature, eroded.
My personal deathwish, loaded.
And even when the sun shines, I don't even feel the heat,
And when sweet soul music plays, my heart refuses the beat,
And when your loving arms wrap around me, stong and tight,
The only thing I want to feel is you, through the bleakest night.
But, Life has been so wicked cruel at times,
But, Life has been so hard to lives at times,
My faith in human nature, eroded.
My personal deathwish, loaded.
