I just wanted to confess that about a year ago I had an opportunity to see INXS at a local summer festival, so I went just to see what it would be like. I have to admitt I was not pleased. Mainly because Michael was not singing (of course). I thought I would be able to handle hearing someone else sing those songs but to me it was just some guy doing a poor imitation of Michael. To top it off it disgusted me to to see the audience enjoying it, so I left in anger. Don't get me wrong I love INXS and have ever since my Mom took me to see them when I was 11 years old. I thought I would be excited to see them again. However it was too hard for me to see them without Michael. After thinking about it now I guess it's because I felt some weird loyalty to Michael and still do. As much as I hope for nothing but the best for the remaining members of INXS it's to hard to see them without Michael and would never want to. I'm so grateful I got to experience INXS live (with Michael). He was such an amazingly gifted person and it's just so hard to live without him.
