When I first realized INXS, I was only 12 years old. When I heard and saw the video for Heaven Sent on MuchMusic 11 years ago I immediately knew this was going to be my favourite band. I went out and bought all of their albums and I was right! When I attended INXS' show here in town on the Elegantly Wasted tour in '97 at the Pacific Coliseum, I was in constant elation. I don't think I have ever felt better in my life than I did that night. Michael was looking at me like I was insane at one point during the show because I kept jumping up and down so much LOL! I had the chance to met Jon, Tim and Garry after the show and would've met you but there wasn't enough time and you had to go... Your music has meant so much to me Michael, that I simply can't put into words how it makes me feel. There is no better singer than you and there is no greater band on this planet than INXS! Some things were meant to be together. Well, Michael Hutchence and Rock N'Roll are one of those things. You have consistently proven time after time that you weren't just a good lookin' rock star. You are an immensely talented entertainer, singer, lyricist and front man, who could easily eclipse any performer by far! We will always remember you Michael. Thank you for your heartfelt music. You are the best...
