It truly saddened (more like upset) me that such a creative and strong talent was lost so early and in a way sickened ( maybe that's not the right word so forgive me) me that his death was so unnecessary and flippant. I suppose he was into several things that were detrimental to him.... It wouldn't be so bad if it were a logical reasonable death, such as car accident, illness, or even drug overdose. But an accident for a thrill that didn't need to happen....is so needless. That is my perception of what happened. I loved INXS and he was such a strong presence and loved so much. I know he is truly missed as much with his fans, as with his family and friends.
