It is hard to describe how I felt when I switched on radio 5 years ago today and heard the news.

Michael had been part of many important events in my life with his words and music and it is still difficult to comprehend that he is gone.

I wanted to pay my respects to his family, friends and fellow fans on this anniversary. I hope they take comfort in the amazing way Michael touched people around the world.
