I was driving along an isolated road heading home to my apartment door. It was a humid day, nothing abnormal seemed present. The radio was on and the DJ said “Michael Hutchence, lead singer of INXS, was dead.” I pulled over, I didn't believe what I had heard. I called the radio station to confirm it. In a very direct and indirect way he was a part of my youth and I would like to express to his parents, extended family, band members, and daughter that there are people out in this world who appreciated Michael's gift of voice and song more than their own. He will never be replaced.
