INXS and Michael were the soundtrack to my younger days. I wanted to be MH! He was cool. Amazing talent and definition of a star who had that quality you can’t describe. I read in a book about the band that he wasn’t always confident in his voice. Crazy as he had an amazing voice and it sounded different across many of their albums. Kick was the first album I bought. I was around 12 or 13. It’s the perfect album and a rarity - not a bad song on it. Still play it regularly now. Sad there was been so many years now with him not in the world. From all accounts he was a good bloke too, as Aussies would say. A huge loss to all, a proper frontman and someone whose music has been a big part of my life for near 40 years. And what’s amazing is, millions of people will have similar feelings. What a legacy for Michael in just 37 years on this earth.
