Michael touched the lives of so many across the world with his undeniable talent, charisma and passion for life. As a teenager sitting in my room in the 80s in the north of Scotland Michael and INXS made me sit up and listen!! It was always about the music first for me, but I soon realised how magnetic he seemed as a person but also very genuine. When I heard the news of his death I was living and working on the continent and a little removed from the media storm in the UK in the 90s. But I don’t think I’ve shed so many tears about anyone else to-date. We will never forget you.
