You know your song “ Never tear us Apart” is the theme song of the relationship with my only daughter. When I divorced her father, on the car ride home to my home as a single mother, your song came on the radio. I knew of the song when I was younger but at that moment in time it solidified this was our song. I promised her at that moment nothing will tear us apart. Even today when either of us hear your song, even if it’s on at the grocery store, or in an elevator, we stop to call or text each other to say your lyrics or we FaceTime or send video clips doing the air saxophone.
