Please note:
Faced with the challenge of inappropriate messages being posted in the past, we have resorted to pre-approving all guestbook entries before they appear in Michael's Guestbook. We also ask you to enter your email address. It won't be displayed on the site but will help us to keep the guestbook organised as well as allowing us to reply to as many as possible with a word of gratitude. Thanks for understanding.

United States of America
Remembering the day of my boss at the radio station coming into a staff meeting, placing a reel-reel box on the table, and stating, “He’s gone. The best all die young.” He made a reference of “The 27 club”, and continued that God graced us with an extra 10 years. The box cover only said “INXS Hutchence”, and the silence that had hit the room converted to tears. I was an older student DJ at my university’s radio station, and remember watching MTV Music Videos growing up. INXS was a very, very popular band in the 1980’s & 90’s. My boss had no information as to why he was gone, but we both loved the band and his voice. We were at a complete loss of words. Michael was a gift to the music industry, as music had been heading in a downward spiral for years. INXS was different, as Michael’s voice could be heard and felt. The newer music in the USA is horrifically bad, distasteful, foul, and a misrepresentation of what music should be. Almost 25 years since his passing, many of the newest generation have not a clue how good music should sound. I grew up to music that used real instruments and a real voice. Thank You for being you Michael. A phenomenal voice then and now, as you are gone but not forgotten.
