I have just returned from my first (but hopefully not last) visit to the great city of Sydney, Australia. I want you to know that Michael's warm presence was definately there and I felt his peaceful spirit on many occasions.
During my stay I took a few little journeys that were very positive:
the Memorial Gardens are lovely and I was glad I went (I left some Tiger Lillies by the way). The sandstone was so pretty and appropriate and the setting is breathtakingly beautiful. I also had the moving experiences of visiting St. Andrews which is so beautiful and elegant in the midst of all the chaos of the city...very much like Michael...and sitting on Milk beach on a misty morning looking out at Rose Bay which was very tranquil and peaceful.
“Your” city is so special and I was sad at times to think that he will not be there again physically to enjoy the splendor of that magestic harbour or the serenity of the bushland...but, as I said, in some way I felt he really is there and his spirit will never die.
As always, my best thoughts are with his family and all you have done to keep his fans connected.
