Saw INXS twice during my high school days in the 80’s. It was during this time I fell in love with the band and the voice and soul of Michael Hutchence. It’s January 2021 and I am here wishing Michael Happy Birthday, (turning 50 on the 28th myself!) and reliving my sadness for losing him all those years ago. I listen to them often and I am taken aback at how current and timeless their sound and lyrics remain.
Michael’s voice was unbelievably sensitive, sultry, and powerful. He moved with a rebellious abandon that reminds me of my younger soul and how free and open I was to possibility. Thank you INXS for all the years of music! Thank you Michael for
