I grew up listening to INXS and Michael's beautiful voice in the late eighties and nineties. My childhood was all about music. It helped me cope with all the challenges that life brought upon me as a teenager.
Few voices touch my heart like Michael's voice and lyrics have. I listen to his songs very often and love to watch videos and interviews.
I've never had the luck of seeing him perform live or even meeting him but growing listening to his voice and music has been a privilege which I wish I could explain to my half brother who is now 20 years old. He has no idea what life was like and what music meant to us kids back then without a mobile phone or internet.
