I'm not going to begin to try to say how much Michael and his (and the band's) music has meant to me, but I will say that if it weren't for Michael my life would be a whole lot different (I even wrote my final essay on this). Particularly after watching Mystify, through his story and his music I found the courage to be who I always wanted to be; someone who wasn't afraid to be themselves and someone who wasn't afraid to admit to themself that they too wanted to be a singer and make people feel as understood and loved as the music of INXS made me feel. It may sound small but I never thought for a second I'd ever have the confidence to tell anyone yet here I am, and this confidence has made me brave throughout other, particularly challenging, times. Michael taught me how to love and how to see beauty in everything.
