In an interview in 1992 for U.S. ‘Elle’ Michael said "Fame makes me feel wanted and loved, anybody wants that.". Look at how loved you are, Michael. I hope that you are somewhere smiling down on us, happy that your existence made such a positive impact on so many people's lives.. for so long. I think of you all the time and selfishly wish you were still with us.. but mostly I am thankful you were ever here at all. A bright shining star of hope and love for such a sometimes uninspired and sad world. We miss you, and celebrate you, and are grateful to so many... your parents for bringing such a beautiful soul into this world and raising you to be free to shine like you did... the friends and family who have kept your legacy alive through stories and this beautiful website.. and all your fans who still band together in love of you.
