Please note:
Faced with the challenge of inappropriate messages being posted in the past, we have resorted to pre-approving all guestbook entries before they appear in Michael's Guestbook. We also ask you to enter your email address. It won't be displayed on the site but will help us to keep the guestbook organised as well as allowing us to reply to as many as possible with a word of gratitude. Thanks for understanding.

Michael marked my musical evolution, INXS were a milestone in my growth as Music lover before my twenties, his voice and their music accompanied me along the whole 90s.
LIVE BABY LIVE in Wembley was my first ever Live in VHS, my first live ever even if not really "live"... and yet that show has been a badass kicking experience for me. I watched that videotape so many times and so many times I sang along him like I wished I could one day. I wanted to be him and when he was with Helena Christiensen, for me the most beautiful woman on earth then and still today, I thought they were living the Dream Life I wished i could live myself.
I dunno why he did what he did, why he has been a man of his words "sliding away" just like he sang in his solo. His solo album was a sorta token to his fans, the token of his own legacy. A musically and lyrically pearl.
I put Michael together with Freddy Mercury, Jeff Buckley, Layne Staley and Chriss Cornell in the top Five all my favorite voices in my very own personal Music History Book. I had no chance to attend their Live concerts and that's something that tears me apart. I find myself listening to Michael solo album so many times still today, just like I do with all of them. Only Jeff, my Dream Brother Jeff Buckley remains the only voice I cannot listen singing anymore, because losing him was like losing a brother indeed. Losing Michael has been a whole different story, losing him I've lost myself, I lost the figure I felt like my alter ego, the SuperStar I wished I cluld have been. I thought he had everything, every single thing a man would want and take from life.
His death teached me the hardest of all lessons I've ever learned in these 45 years of my lifetime... the lesson was that despite whatever we achieve in life, whatever we make ourselves into, wherever we push ourselves nothing is granted, nothing is what we really got. Losing Michel has been not losing an idol, has not been losing a member of the family and nothing else like that... losing Michael has been like losing Hope.
What he left were memories, that's what remains, that's what won't never ever slide away!
I wish i could post here three pictures dedicated to you but I can't so all I can do and I do want to do is to still a few more words to remember you in three moments of your life and those three moments are all about Music and nothing else:

LIVE BABY LIVE ~ Best INXS' Live Concert and Michael's Performance
FULL MOONS, DIRTY HEARTS ~ Best INXS Mature {I'd say Adult} Album
MICHAEL HUTCHANCE ~ Best Michael Solo Performance and Album

These are the 3 ways I want to think of when I want to remember you and share you with others, because your heritage must be always shared, diffused and promoted to all those generations who are missing with us all you could have done if death didn't cross your way.

Sing In Peace, Michael... sing alongside your fellow voices who made my life better. I will always miss you.

Your fan till the end of times,
D.
