I met Michael Hutchence when I was in college and working at Belmont Racetrack on Belmont Stakes day. This had to be in the late 80's early 90's. I was an usher and I remember him coming into the ClubHouse and everyone was excited to see him. For some reason, he came over to me and started to talk to me. He was so nice and polite! It meant a lot to me because I was a teenager and knew who he was and felt very special that he chose to speak to me for a few minutes. I loved the band INXS and I will never forget him! I was so sad to hear of his passing in the late 1990's. The reason why I came to this site in 2018 is because I was talking to my boss about him and decided to Google when Michael passed. Although he died way too young, his spirit will live on with his kindness and his music. May he continue to rest in peace.
