I first heard INXS on a local radio station in 1983 and was instantly drawn to their sound. I then saw INXS in 1984 at a local theater. I stayed after to see if I could catch a glimpse of any of the band members. I sat down and realized that just 2 rows back were Micheal and Kirk talking to a friend. I remember Micheal getting up and walking away but grinning and waving goodbye to me when he went backstage. I asked for Kirk's autograph and he had looked suprized that I asked for it. I will never get over the devestation that I still feel with Micheal's death. The world has lost a wonderful, deeply soulful poet with the voice of an angel.
