I found this site for the first time today & it made me cry. I loved INXS & Michael especially. I'll never forget the first time I saw them perform 1st warmup band for Queen at Wembley stadium in 1985! They had me hooked from that moment, “Listen like thieves”, what a classic. I went travelling in 1988 & ended up of course in Australia - “Kick” was the album of my travels. I trawled shops for the back catalogue, “The swing” & “Shaboo Shoobah”.I saw them perform half a dozen times more over the years, last time was May 97 “Elegantly Wasted”. I remember comming home on that fateful Saturday morning when the news broke here, I cried & cried. I still can't listen to “Never tear us apart”. I wish I had met him, had a drink & a chat - I think he would have been a blast. INXS were (are) MY BAND, Michael was MY MAN. I miss seeing him in the press & on TV - I hope he's happy & rocking still.
Thanks for the music & the memories Michael - sweet dreams
