I remember seeing Michael with INXS in small pubs & clubs in Sydney & Wollongong from 1985 to 1988. These venues were often overcrowded, with people “jammed” together.
But true to Michaels' form he always reved up the crowd & in turn the audience thoroughly enjoyed the show.
Indeed it was a sad day when Michael passed away but if you look at his beautiful daughter Tiger Lily, he will live on through her.
Although I never knew him personally, my fondest memory of him sharing a jug of beer with us: by throwing the beer wildly into the audience & we were splashed with the smallest of dropplets. My head nearly exploded. What a memory!!
Now we all only have memories & mine are relived by listening to my INXS albums.
PS: I can hardly wait for the Anthology Album to go on sale, for more good memories.
