I would like to submit a lovely and heartwarming incident that happened to somebody who is not too familiar with the internet system. It touched my heart so deeply that with her permission I am submitting this message on her behalf;
Her name is Alanna Butler and this is her story:
MICHAEL'S LEGACY OF LOVE....
IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME AND I WANT TO SHARE A FIRST HAND TRUE EXPERIENCE (Resulting in my overwhelming admiration for Michael Hutchence)
Involved in various production services, I had taken along to a concert my neice Daniella who had recently lost her grandmother, backstage in the rumpus and chaos that was ensuing I was busy doing the 101 things assigned to me, Daniella was seated outside a portacabin. I didn't notice she was crying.
Next time I looked over Michael Hutchence was knelt down in front of her as she was sobbing her heart out..
I ran over I thought she had (done something).
As I approached he looked at me and smiled, then carried on speaking to Daniella.. He was saying the following words - mesmerised I almost remember the conversation word for word.
Michael was saying.. 'When you feel in pain don't be alone, It's no good sitting in a little dark corner, take a look up at the sky and can you see all the light and love shining down.. I know it shines down especially for all the little children in the world - can't you feel how warm that love is? I know you are hurting we have all had someone who left us unexpectedly.. Haven't we?
At this point she was still sobbing, he took her tiny hand as she looked up her eyes sparkled.. He continued
'We all have to go on, it's no good being stuck here in this little corner is it? Let all that naughty pain just roll away and off - out of the arena... Come on kid let it go'
Continuing he said 'Did you do the best for nanna then? Daniella sighed a feeble 'Yes' Michael replied 'Well then.. See that rainbow over there.. That took nanna safely to heaven.. So I think we should all be happy for her shouldn't we.. Wasn't she lucky to have such a kind grand-daughter as you - don't you think?'
With that Daniella gave Michael a big hug and skipped away.. Oblivious to her previous pain..
He stood up.. I said 'I don't know how to thank you'
He smiled and said.. 'Look how happy she is now.. that's all the thanks I need' and he gripped my hand then walked back to his trailer.
I stood there overwhelmed. I knew from that point why he was, who he was, my thoughts changed about life and death in that instant. Daniella's heart lifted and instead of the pain she had been lost in.. She instead would point to the sky and say 'Look that how nanna got heaven'...
I hope this sharing gives an insight to the real man behind the myth, and his power to touch many lives in the most innocent way.

I always knew Michael was special as you could see his compasson and depth through those soulful eyes and this story just confirms why Michael will forever hold such a special place within my heart where no one else can go.
