Faced with the challenge of inappropriate messages being posted in the past, we have resorted to pre-approving all guestbook entries before they appear in Michael's Guestbook. We also ask you to enter your email address. It won't be displayed on the site but will help us to keep the guestbook organised as well as allowing us to reply to as many as possible with a word of gratitude. Thanks for understanding.

I feel I must write this for Tiger. I was extremely lucky enough to camp next to Inxs during the 80's at a beautiful beach aptly called Pretty Beach.

Kirk Pengilly,Michael and a couple of models were there. According to Kirk they were filming excerpts of the filmclip “Burn for You”.

I was about 9 or 10 years old and I remember playing on the beach with my two friends and looking at the most beautiful, exuberant man rubbing sunsreen onto four of the biggest breasts I have ever seen in my life. The thing that struck me as funny was although he appeared to be exuberant and sensual he also appeared to be even more shy, and would not return my stares, maybe out of embarrassement of what he was doing. I found this hugely contradictary but the impression I received from that meeting was that although he was a sensual and highly exuberant young man he was equally if not more shy.

Well, anyway Kirk came up to our campsite and asked if we had any spare water as they had run out and promptly introduced himself as Kirk Pengilly and said he was from a band called Inxs and that they were filming their filmclip Burn for You.

My father gave them some water while muttering under his breath something about young hippies in Croatian.

In short,I was able to get an extremely accurate insight into the man that was Michael Hutchence and to be honest with you the newspapers and various other media outlets have totally gotten Michael wrong.

He was an extremely sensitive young man who loved to sing yet I feel the pressures of fame worked against this most beautiful and sensitive soul.

It is the image of Michael young and free, with his dark curly locks falling over his face so sensually and wildly, yet still offering him protection from the glaring masses, which will always stick in my head.

Michael Hutchence was not the things the media has portrayed him to be. No, Michael Kelland Hutchence was a beautiful, young, caring sensitive soul with a heart bigger than most people's and my life will always be enriched knowing that I was so close to one of Australia's most beautiful and sensitive young males. Tiger, please if you ever read this know that your father loved you with a passion. To Michael's family I wish to say thank-you for giving the world a beautiful and sensitive young man. I have taken my husband and two small daughters to Pretty Beach and you would not believe what song was playing on the radio. Burn for You. I feel as though all my life I have had a connection with Michael and I know that all the bad publicity he received was extremely hurtful to him. I love you Michael.
