Dear Mr. Hutchence and family,
This is the first time I have visited this site and I am so very touched by it. I am a twenty-eight year old woman who has been an INXS fan since I was fourteen years old. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, and for the loss of the world at large, for Michael's passing. When I was a young girl, I had dreams of dreams of growing up to be Michael's wife (me about a million other young girls!) Even though I am a hapilly married woman, when I heard of Michael's passing, I at first thought it was some kind of horrible rumor, and then I couldn't stop crying. I have seen INXS in concert on three different occasions, and had so much respect for the band and their musical talent that I can not possibly express it in words. For some time, I could not listen to Michael singing without breaking down in tears, and I don't think that a lot of people understood that. I just wanted to let you know that Michael's music has helped me through some terribly hard times in my life, when I thought things would never get better, his music was the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm sure you've heard it before, but I just wanted to let you know just how much hapiness INXS and Michael's talent has brought to my life. Please take care and God bless!
