Please note:
Faced with the challenge of inappropriate messages being posted in the past, we have resorted to pre-approving all guestbook entries before they appear in Michael's Guestbook. We also ask you to enter your email address. It won't be displayed on the site but will help us to keep the guestbook organised as well as allowing us to reply to as many as possible with a word of gratitude. Thanks for understanding.

The Great Divide
(for Tiger Lily)

A dark cloud lies over the new dawn
as you find yourself all alone
with no one left to guide your innocent ways
A tear is shed for you
naked to the fears of humanity
vulnerable to the pain of the world
You've had more than your fair share in such a short life
as you find yourself all alone
But love is a powerful thing
it spans the great divide
From deep within our hearts
a love physically lost forever remains
and we find a way to face the day
So fear not, sweet child,
respite is close at hand
For when you need a guiding light of hope
look deep within yourself
and there you will find a bright star shining over you
showing you the way
You need never walk alone.
As the dawn turns to dusk
and the ashes to dust
the light of love burns through the darkened peril
as the loved ones fate left behind
band together to make the sun shine through the window
on tommorrow's brand new day.

Dearest Tiger I hope you're able to see just how many people love, cherish, and are there for you in this your time of need. May you grow to be strong and happy... surrounded by those who love you, knowing who your parents were, how much they loved you... and understanding that their untimely ends were in no way attributed to you. Be brave... if I could give you the strength to get through this alright I would give you 110% of myself in order to make things easier for you... but all I can offer are these words; helpless as they are.

Kell, words can not express the respect and admiration I feel towards you right now. I can not fathom how much you have wanted your granddaughter a regular part of your life... and to then gallantly push your own wants and desires aside to accept what is the best thing for Tiger; just goes to show how much you love her. I hope you attain good health soon and are able to see lots of Tiger Lily from now on... I feel it will be a great comfort to her to see how much of a great grandad she has. May you have a long and fruitful relationship with her. You're one of a kind Kell, and really deserve the best of happiness after all that's happened. Your whole family does.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

All my love,
Danielle
