I am writing this note as the death of Paula has saddened me a great deal. When I was younger I had the privilege of meeting Miss Yates on a beach with her children in Kent her character was very warm and her attention was completely focused on her children and the fun and warmth Paula showed to the children in just that 2 hours proved to me she was a loving, genuine and warm character.
I think she has had to cope with so much on her own! The loss of her greatest love must have crushed her but having to go through fights with families over children and money when I think what she needed was love and compassion in such a time must have been a big burden on her young shoulders. Then coming to terms with finding out that her father was actually Hughie Green and not Jess Yates the man she loved and respected as a father all her life and of all people her mother publicised this for all of the world to see her humiliation, is disgraceful! The fight she tried to battle with obviously became too much she must have felt that there was no way out, no one to turn to at least now your wonderful son will look after her once more.. I think you should pay homage to such a wonderful person by adding a chapter in your sons memorial website as she made him happy just by bringing such a beautiful and wonderful daughter into his life. You must think of what he would want and I'm sure he would want his beautiful, talented girlfriend to be displayed !!
My sincere and deepest sympathy goes out to your family and most of all Paula's daughters.
May she rest in PEACE....
