Please note:
Faced with the challenge of inappropriate messages being posted in the past, we have resorted to pre-approving all guestbook entries before they appear in Michael's Guestbook. We also ask you to enter your email address. It won't be displayed on the site but will help us to keep the guestbook organised as well as allowing us to reply to as many as possible with a word of gratitude. Thanks for understanding.

In spite of the fact that I have been a fan of INXS for more than fifteen years, I have never succeeded in figuring out what exact role Michael's charisma plays therein. It was an eye opener when I read one year ago that his performance looked like Mick Jagger's in many ways. I could not deny this. However, I had been a long time fan of the Rolling Stones too, but Mick Jagger never felt like being my brother like Michael does. Oddly enough in this context, I think Mick's voice is much more vibrant and original than Michael's. Presumably, Michael often looked with much more deep, both fierce and gloomy emotion in his eyes in a way that both revs me up and consoles me anytime I see him displayed/depicted. Nevertheless, the similarities between them add more charisma to Michael's. Furthermore, the musical differences between the Rolling Stones and INXS are big enough to avoid depurification of the intangible rushy waves of wonder that many INXS songs wash my head with anytime.
