I have been thinking of Michael so much this past year. You physically left this world on the exact day of my 21st birthday. I am now 37. I literally grew up to your music. The first cd I ever purchased was Kick. My first concert was to see you perform at the Palace in Auburn Hills for the X tour. You performed in late November and a friend bought me a ticket for my birthday. I was so young, my parents drove us and waited in the parking lot. Your music had a profound impact on my early life.
