Please note:
Faced with the challenge of inappropriate messages being posted in the past, we have resorted to pre-approving all guestbook entries before they appear in Michael's Guestbook. We also ask you to enter your email address. It won't be displayed on the site but will help us to keep the guestbook organised as well as allowing us to reply to as many as possible with a word of gratitude. Thanks for understanding.

Hi Mario, Jacqui & Ian this message is to you - not for the guest book. I have really tried to contact inxs manager, promoters family / friends to see if they are ok with having an official memorial service at the Northern Sub. Memorial Gardens - but I can't contact anyone for their wishes or permission.
I don't know why but this year - 15th - seems more signifant to me then any other and recently people I have spoken to around the Nothern Suburbs who new the band don't know about the memorial.
I not sure exactly what should be done or what anyone wants to happen, but, I feel Michael's 15th year since his death should not go unnoticed by the very place where Inxs began.
I'd like to have some sort of memorial service - a lot of people who went to Davidson High School and watched/danced to Michael & Inxs in the early days live around here still.
The date of his death is Thursday 22 - and I will be at 12:30.
But, many people will be at work and, may wish to attend a memorial - so I was thinking of making the date 2 pm 25 Nov Sunday. Play some of Inxs hits (though my computer doesn't sound that great)- if Inxs managers / promoters wish to get involved they could also promote the 25th anniverisary of the album “Kick”. I don't have money to promote such a memorial service or how to exactly organise it - so would need some help.
I was thinking of contacting radio stations to advertise it and the local papers and maybe Sydney morning herald. It would great if any family, friends band wish to part-take or attend -say some words. But I don't know if this is what his family or band members would wish to do.
Could you urgently send me a reply - as if people do wish to remind Sydney about this amazing person that, with Inxs, promoted Australians to the world and the incredible talent Michael Hutchence was and how he still now is so dearly remembered by old friends/ fans and new young fans.

Please tell me what you wish - if you wish me to do nothing - I will abide by that and just attend on 22 Nov by myself.

Thank you for keeping this guestbook running and if you even need any help in caring for Michael's Memorial garden site I can help - I live fairly close by.
Yours sincerely
