I wrote this for you in 1997. I hope you like it.I'm writing as though you are still here as I believe you still are. Our spirit never dies and what a relief to know that.
You are now free
From whatever it was
You no longer wish to feel
Was there good reason
Or just because
With God you made a deal?
To remind mankind
Why we are here
To show mortality lurking there
To teach us love
Is important and dear
Hearts given for us to share
What is here
May soon be gone
So live life full
And hold dear
All we have in this instant
As tomorrow it may just disappear.
