My memories to Michael and INXS begin
1982'ish a friend who had just returned from a trip to Sydney to Perth, was raving about this band he had seen in a pub -INXS - what an excellent name I thought, who would have imagined just the incredible worldwide success they would achieve.
I had always enjoyed following their music but the highlight was when I witnessed INXS live in London '89'ish and to see Michael perform live was to be amazed, his energy and karisma were something I think you really had to see to believe. He had it! I am so grateful for that priviledge of seeing him at his best, doing what he obviously loved singing live. I felt so proud to be Australian he was world class.
Thanks for the memories over the years. I will always think of an INXS song and remember where I was, who I was with etc. We all grew up together - how nice it would have been to have all grown old and grey together and complete the journey.
