Tonight I saw Dogs in space for the first time and while doing some research on the film afterwards I discovered a link to this site, which I never knew existed.
Michael was a hero of mine growing up and has long been an inspiration for my own music and performance . Being a fellow countryman I always felt a great sense of pride for what he and his bandmates achieved and how much their music meant to so many.
I was in my final year of high school when michael died and I remember never before being so saddened by the death of someone whom I had not known personally. I guess that speaks volumes for the strength of his spirit and just how truly unique he was.
I have been brought to tears and yet filled with joy knowing that there are so many others out there who have been as deeply moved by michael's music as I and have not forgotten just how special he really was.
I would like to sincerely thank Mario, Jacqui, Ian and all involved in maintaining this beautiful memorial for a beautiful soul. If there is anything I could ever do to help it would be the least I could do to honour someone who has given me so much.
