Today is August 28, 2011 and I am in my home in Los Angeles. It's a long way from my teen yrs in the early 80's in Honolulu that I first fell in love with INXS music. I was mesmerized by Michael's videos on MTV. INXS cassette tapes in my little Honda CRX driving through the beaches of the island. Choosing I Need You Tonight as a featured song in a Waikiki club fashion show we held...before it was a hit. I just loved it when I heard it...among so many INXS tunes.
Michael's passing was a shock and tragedy for me, much like Princess Diane or John Jr. Kennedy. Then, there are random days like today, that I think of his talents, have a need to watch some of his videos on You Tube and be a happy young teen/ adult again. I still miss him very much but he's up there with all the other great talents that have passed on.
