13 years ago today. 🙁 So hard to believe that so much time has gone past since I first heard the terrible news. I still remember where I was and what I was doing. Now, so many years later, it is still hard to come to terms with the fact that Michael has left this world. And, although I dont' believe that I will ever truly make sense of it all, I am thankful for the time that we were given with such a wonderful, talented man. Michael has inadvertantly brought me friendships that I know I would not have without the shared pain of his entering the next phase of his spiritual existence. His music has brought me comfort, happiness, fun and laughter. His short life has shown me how important it is to cherish each and every day we have. For all of those things, thank you, Michael. You are not, and will never be, forgotten. Rest in peace and may your spirit soar in the heavens as it was unable to do here on earth.

ps My dear friend, Judy Garnier, has been off line for awhile now. Although my words can never measure up to her poetic talent, I leave this message on her behalf as well.
