I only knew Michael the “singer” of INXS. Yet i'm convinced that he was the dedicated man, father, grand father, the human as much as he was the dedicated singer of the group.
He will be missed, not just by me, but even my kids, who are not old enough to even like music of the time he sang with INXS.
I know his legacy will go one, but at this point in time, personally, even if the band INXS still goes on with a new lead vocal, it's just not the same, and will never be the same.
I still listen to those songs ever since his departure, and will not settle for anything else.
