Dear Michael,

We're all confused through teenage years but your music guided me into adulthood and your humanity gave me a code to live upto. Your music has played such a part in my life and each song takes me back to a time and reminds me of the value of life. You were a great performer, writer and human being who shall be sorely missed forever but remembered for eternity.
Thanks for all that you brought me and your spirit lives on in my heart, soul and in my head as the tunes play over in my mind.

I would say rest in peace, but i think 'rock in peace' is more your style!
