I would like to thank Michael's family for assembling this loving tribute. It is heart warming, and at the same time saddens me to pay hommage to him as a memory; growing up, I always thought that I would have the opportunity to shake his hand and say “Thank You, Michael”. Michael's explosive existance has lent inspiration to my life, begining with the first time I saw INXS perform live 15 years ago in New York. Not a day goes by that I don't feel tremendous gratitude for the passion and creativity that he has brought into this world, and I thank everyone who supported Michael throughout his life time, enabling him to thrive as a person and as an artist. There is a picture of Michael I keep in my recording studio, and this may sound silly, that I say good morning to everyday. I think it serves as areminder that I am still here, and there is alot for me to still acheive. Every Viola performance I give, I dedicate to Michael. I think there are many people out there who, one way or another, have been touched by the life of Michael and carry a bit of him inside if them, a way of keeping him here with us if only in spirit.
