I was 13 when i started to really get in to music, but didn't know what type of music i liked. Anyway, one night while i was staying at my mums house, i just happened to put a tape in my new hifi and hit the record button on bbc radio one. The tape ran untill it came to the end of side A, i then hate quickly turn it over and whack the rec button again...the sound was off, so i had no idea what the band was like. I was really only testing how good my hifi would rec. Next morning i took the tape out and put it in my walkman...and for the next hour and half i was blown away by what i had recorded...a band called inxs singing live at wembley stadium London. I'm 31 now, and still have the tape..Hutchence fan and inxs fan ever since. They became a huge part of my teen years and his music helped me through some hard times.
